How do I become a member?
That’s easy. Give us your name and contact information. Please include the following:
- Your name (if an organization, the name of the contact person, also)
- Your address; street, town, state and zip code
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The name of projects and/or events you are most interested in (optional)
- The age range of your child(ren) or the age range that you are most interested in supporting.
To save paper and time you can send a message to Barbara, our Community Organizer, by putting the information in the form below. You may also call or mail it to us.
Please let us now as soon as possible so you don’t miss anything. We occassionally send information in the mail, so keeping our mailing list up to date is crucial to maintaining our postage budget.

What is a member?
Members of the Windham Parent Network are individuals, businesses and organizations that are interested in supporting our goal of “parents making Windham a great place for families.” Our members are primarily from Windham, Connecticut which includes, Willimantic, North Windam, South Windham and Windham Center. Membership is not restricted to the Windham Area and anyone or organization that is able to support our goal is welcome to become a member.
What are the benefits of membership?
There are several benefits of membership:
- Receive our newsletters and mailings
- Standing invitation to our member meetings
- Email notices of our events
- Email notices of relevant community events, for example, healthcare, education and relevant political events
- Ability to participate in planning meetings and to organize events
- Ability to become a board member (specific requirements apply)
How much is membership?
It’s free. There are no fees or charges for membership. We encourage members to support the Windham Parent Network by participating in our events. We are especially interested in members attending planning meetings and assisting at our events. It’s your Network!
Please note that at this time we are primarily a grant funded organization. We happily accept donations and fundraise though certain events.
